The Art of Self-Defence:

Contrary to the belief that Martial Arts are forms of physical combat, we would emphasize on the word 'Art'. Martial Arts are 'The Art of Self-Defence', 'The Art of Combat', 'The Art of Physical Fitness', 'The Art of Concentration', 'The Art of Meditation' and 'The Art of Living'. 

Scope of Martial Arts:

Martial Arts gives courage, confidence, rhythm, motion, balance, concentration, endurance, power, reflexes, grace and serenity. In its users, especially present days youth and children, it will produce:

  • Control and Coordination Over the Body & Mind
  • Inculcate Restrained Aggressiveness 
  • Remain Cool and Composed during Adverse Situations

  • Protection of Self, Friend and Family (Self-Defence)
  • Take Part in Competitive Sports Karate
  • Recreation through Karate Display 

Karate Classes and Self-Defence Training is run under the guidance of Col. Kamal Goswami and Swami Shivananda.
